Always thought, as the saying goes, the dog and cat are always wrong, by nature or by default. But this need not be so. Many want to be in the same house a dog and a cat together. Others already have a dog or cat for a while and now want to bring a puppy home and the two do not know how. But perhaps the most delicate case is when you have a dog for a long time and suddenly you want to take home a kitten and a dog together.

Baking soda is a very effective odor absorber and remover in several parts of the house. You can put a handful of baking soda in your cat’s litter box to keep that area smelling clean and fresh, or put some in a container and place it inside your refrigerator to absorb leftover odor. You can also place a little in your shoes to absorb sweat odors. Baking soda is very powerful tool to help eliminate and absorb house odors; you can always try to use this whenever you started smelling unwanted odor on some parts of your house.

Scented candles are also very helpful to cover up foul odors, most especially when you have guests coming into your house and you have no time to totally eliminate the source of the odor. These candles bring out pleasant smell that is very welcoming to any guest. Spray-on air fresheners are also great to keep your house smelling good and mask some unwanted odors. Some of these sprays have the ability to neutralize odors while some only hides the unwanted odor temporarily.

Other products that can help mask foul odors at home include ground coffee which helps get rid of bad odor on a very subtle way. Charcoal also helps neutralize smell on areas that are easily molded such as basements and closets. Dry sheets is also an affordable way to freshen up parts of your home and some of your things such as running shoes, you can place overnight and wake up with a pleasant smelling shoes.
